You get to pilot a spaceship around an oval track by firing your rockets in any direction. To make you think rather than react like in an arcade game, there're some special rules. Your rockets work in bursts: they fire for a specific amount of time when their button is pressed, so your motion changes by a fixed amount. There's a velocity vector shown on the spaceship, and a "delta-v" vector when you fire. (Actual NASA jargon! delta-v is change in velocity from a rocket burn) There's a no-hassle mental tuneup on this to prep you for the game.
