Atom Building Game
Teaching the abstract concept of atoms to your students is a challenge. With this in mind, CPO Science developed the Atom Building Game. This illustrative, multi-level model allows your students to build atoms using colored marbles that represent protons, neutrons, and electrons. We have arranged pockets in a 19” square board to correspond to the energy levels of the s, p, and d orbitals for electron shells one to five.
The Atom Building Game is available in two versions (wood and plastic) and is a powerful tool for helping students to understand the atom and chemical properties of the elements. Hands-on activities stimulate learning about atomic structure, electron shells, chemical bonding, isotopes, energy levels, emission spectra, lasers, and other key concepts with fun, team-building games that your students are guaranteed to enjoy.
